I'm pleased to be speaking at three upcoming conferences: the PASS Community Summit 2008, the Microsoft BI Conference 2008, and the Business Intelligence Virtual Conference.
While the first two are traditional conferences (and both highly recommended), the Business Intelligence Virtual Conference is just that: virtual. Speakers are heading to Tucson at different times to record their sessions. Those sessions will then be broadcast via the web September 24-26. During the session broadcasts, the speakers will be available in live chat rooms so you can ask questions. The speaker lineup is exceptional and includes several of my Solid Quality Mentors colleagues. One of the best parts of the conference is that it is only $100.
I'll be presenting three sessions at the conference:
- Avoiding Common SQL Server Analysis Services Mistakes
- Why Data Warehousing Projects Fail (and what you can do about it)
- What's new in SSAS in SQL Server 2008
If you want three days of sessions focused on Microsoft BI, check out the Business Intelligence Virtual Conference.
