9.0 Analysis Services Driver for Excel

Some of our Excel 2003 users do not have the 9.0 driver available to them when they are creating a data source for the olap database...what do they have to get/download/install in order to connect? is there some kind of other Analysis Services or Excel component that needs to be on the client or what?

Drew, you can find that driver here: http://support.microsoft.com/hotfix/KBHotfix.aspx?kbnum=953752&kbln=en-us

Get SQLServer2005_ASOLEDB9 and try that. I believe that will take care of the issue. If not, let me know.

if i were you i would save all my wanted files to an external hard drive and then i would reformat the computer n put them back on. but if you do do this make sure you have a copy of all your drivers before you do it, especially an ethernet controller driver (internet) _____________ [url=http://www.absolutesteal.com?o=f10001]Absolute Steal.com[/url]
