In my project we have already one cube in production named ‘Retail Info’
Now we are in process to deliver one another Cube named ‘ CreditInfo’ which would consist of dimensions like Accounts,Channels,TimeID.
These dimensions are already in Retail Info cube. So I created one new DSource from RetailInfo Cube and created linked dimension from that Datasource.
But we do not need any fact tables from that Retail Info cube into CreditInfo Cube.So I dint select any measure from retailinfo cube. and created new measures from relation data source.
Now the problem is When I clicked on those linked dimensions the dimension pane is blank and showing one error
“Linked dimension attribute\hierarchy’ can not be modified.Plese use properties panel to modifyname and description,or usethe translation tabto specify translations”
Then I tried to process the cube and the following error msg occurred :
Error 1 Errors in the metadata manager. The 'CreditDetails’ regular measure group cannot be created because it uses the 'Channels' linked dimension, whose 'UnknownMember' property is set to 'None'. A regular measure group can only use a linked dimension whose 'Unknown Member' property is set to either 'Hidden' or 'Visible'.
But in property panel there is no provision to change Unknown member property or change the error configurations to Custom.
Only four Items in the property panel are being shown: Source,Name,ID,Description.
Please help me to sort out this problem
